Positive Experience/Entertaining? Yeah, but not as clever or fun as the GBA version of the first Lego Star Wars. PLEASE NOTE: This review is for the Nintendo DS version only.
Technically any good? Game play is very similar to the PS2 version of both LSW games, which is good. However, the sheer number of massive bugs in this game is uncountable. I’m not referring to sections I just can’t get past–I’m referring to parts of the game where the walls and floor disappear. Sometimes your character disappears. Other times, you can’t finish levels because your force powers don’t work, even though you’re standing by a glowing object.
How did it leave me feeling? Frustrated!! I can’t finish the game because it’s so damn buggy! I loved the GBA and PS2 versions of the first Lego Star Wars and can’t understand how Lucasarts let this one make it to stores. Seriously–it’s terrible.
Final Rating? ALP - Avoid Like the Plague–seriously don’t waste your money. Amaze Entertainment and Traveller’s Tales (the developers of the game) should be ashamed.
Don’t worry–I’m also giving the PS2 version a try and so far, it’s much better.

Positive Experience/Entertaining?? Yuck–not at all! And I so wanted to like this game!!
Technically any good? The graphics were reasonable (not great) but the gameplay was TERRIBLE. It was like someone saw the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan and decided the game should be THAT hard! (And I played it at the “easy” setting!)
How did it leave me feeling? Gypped. I’m very glad I rented this game and didn’t buy it like I had thought about doing. I’ve heard the online gameplay is better, but, to me, if the basic gameplay isn’t passable, why should I even bother?

Positive Experience/Entertaining?? Definitely! It was a particular blast playing my favorite peripheral Godzilla character JEG JAGUAR!!!
Technically any good? The graphics and audio are good, but not great. The gameplay is awesome, almost identical to Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee for Gamecube, the real difference being some different monsters/characters to play (like the aforementioned Jeg Jaguar).
How did it leave me feeling? Happy, but not jonesing to play more. Maybe if I had a second gamepad and could get some 2-player action going on, that’d make the difference.
Final Rating? BFF (Borrow From Friend–I’d like to own this some day, but I’m in no rush.)
